Is nose surgery painful?

Normally, an ambulatory procedure is done as a nose surgery so that no stay is allowed overnight. You're going to get anesthesia, general or local. You will sleep through the surgery with general anesthesia. You are sedated and your nose gets stuffed to relax and not feel the pain with local anesthesia.

How long does a rhinoplasty take to heal?

The first week after rhinoplasty is usually worn by a nasal splint. After the surgery, you can expect inflammation and some eye bleeding which starts to improve after the third day but takes up to two weeks. You and your surgeon will then have a small degree of swelling.
